Heritage Standing Inc. serves engineers when atypical complications arise with old buildings and structures, often from attempts to maintain a building's historic value while meeting code objectives.  We also resolve issues of compatible repairs for historic systems, and prepare specifications for designs that allow historic buildings and structures to continue to act as a cohesive whole.  This provides long lasting and reliable repair.  We work with non-contemporary structural systems and materials, such as timber frame construction, unreinforced masonry, and dry laid stone foundations.  The services we most often provide to engineers include:
