Hanwell Little Recreation Building

After acquiring a local historic wood church, the municipality moved it to a popular recreational area and then requested Heritage Standing Inc. to undertake a condition assessment and design concepts for potential use.  HSI evaluated the physical needs of the 1930s wood-frame building and, through a series of in-person engagements, also evaluated how the building’s structure could meet the values and needs of the community.  Detailed conceptual designs and layout drawings were presented to the municipality to enable them to make well-balanced decisions regarding the future uses of this historic building.
